Kathy Rosenblatt, AAA
Kathy Rosenblatt is an independent appraiser and consultant providing fine art and personal property appraisals and consulting services to private and corporate clients. Kathy has a lifelong involvement in fine art, decorative arts, and design related fields. This includes owning an interior design firm, administering special events at the American Crafts Museum (now Museum of Arts & Design) and partner in the Cordy Gallery, NY. Her personal interest in Art Deco/Art Moderne led her to develop the Art Deco Society of New York (ADSNY)“Art Deco/Art Moderne Resource Guide”, the first comprehensive directory of its kind in the New York metropolitan area. In addition to extensive field experience and years of connoisseurship, her knowledge of current appraisal and USPAP standards, IRS regulations, market trends, and values, are informed by continuing education and leading market indicators.
Kathy Rosenblatt has been appraising late 19th to 21st-century fine art and residential contents regularly since 2003. She steadfastly guides clients through difficult decisions including estate or equitable distribution, artists’ estates, donations, insurance and buy/sell determinations. She has appraised Impressionist, modern and contemporary fine art, which includes paintings, works on paper, prints, sculpture, and photography. Education is the cornerstone of her appraisal and consulting services. As an adjunct professor, she has taught at Pratt Institute, NY; New York University and currently teaches at the Appraisers Association of America. Her professional affiliations include the Appraisers Association of America (AAA) where she served on the Board of Directors from 2007 to 2016 and continues to be a very active member; the Art Deco Society of New York (ADSNY), American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and ArtTable.
Lennie Rose, ISA AM

Lennie Rose is an independent personal property appraiser and consultant specializing in furnishings, antiques, decorative arts and the comprehensive contents of estates. Working on behalf of private and corporate clients, estate attorneys and heirs, she is skilled in both the valuation and sale of personal property and fine art. Her appreciation of art, antiques, and design stems from a lifelong interest and foundation in interior design. In addition to field experience and International Society of Appraisers (ISA) accreditations, she is USPAP compliant and continues to expand her knowledge of collecting, connoisseurship and industry trends through ongoing education at Christie’s, ISA, and the Appraisers Association of America (AAA).
Since opening Lennie Rose Estate Appraisals, Inc. Lennie has been researching and appraising the contents of estates in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Her services range from assisting corporate clients in liquidating contemporary art to valuing the complete contents of estates. From facilitating the sale of a portfolio of inherited jewelry to connecting the appropriate scholars and appraisers to rare collections, Lennie is a former co-owner of an interior design and antique emporium on Chicago’s Gold Coast. She serves on the Board of the Foundation for Appraisal Education, is an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and a member of the Canadian ISA Chapter, the Museum of the City of New York, The MOMA and The Whitney.
